Delivery and Returns

This page provides details of Light Bars Ireland Delivery and Returns policies

All orders (stock items) for Standard delivery are normally despatched within one to two working days from clearance of payment. We expect delivery to be within 2 to 5 working days thereafter from the date of clearance of your order. Expected delivery dates are dependent on the weight of your order and/or the shipping destination. Standard Delivery will be by Courier service for orders up to 30kg in weight.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. In the event that an item is deemed to have been faulty the cost of the return will be reimbursed to the customer.

Additional delivery instructions

While you are completing your online order if you have any requests concerning delivery let us know this by entering details in the “Add Comments about Your Order” Box. Such information can include a request to delay your order for despatching at a later date. Please note we cannot accept any alternative delivery address requests when paying by credit/debit card.

Tracking

Tracking of your delivery will be determined by the courier chosen at time of shipping. An Post deliveries can be tracked using https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Track/Search.

Taxation

VAT is calculated on delivery destination. All orders to destinations within the Ireland and the European Union will have VAT added to the value of the order.

Delay of delivery

In the event that all or part of your order is not available, we shall notify you by e-mail as soon as possible. Unavailable stock and special order items are normally despatched within 5 to 10 days. We will attempt to keep you regularly updated on any items ordered that are likely to be on back order for more than 14 days. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the item(s). We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but any dates we specify are approximate only and we will not be held liable for any delay or failure to achieve any delivery or other date.

Undeliverable Orders

Undeliverable orders that have been despatched to the delivery address as supplied by the customer and consequently are returned to Light Bars Ireland are subject to a refund of the value of the products only (not including delivery charges) and less any applicable return postage costs charged by the carriers. The number one cause of long / undeliverable deliveries is wrong phone numbers.

 Nightline Couriers / DPD will ring your number if they cannot locate your address. If you do not answer the phone or are not available to answer, the package is “returned to sender” i.e. it is returned to Light Bars Ireland. They will usually try 3 to 4 times to delivery the package. NOTE: We have decided to introduce a re-handling / re-shipping fee of €8.95 (per carriage) for any orders that are returned back to us from Nightline Couriers / DPD where they were unable to contact customer.

Claims

Please immediately inform us by email, or post of any of any problems you may have with your delivery. Please inform us within 24 hours of delivery. We cannot accept any liability unless we are notified within the 24 hours of delivery.

Damage on Delivery

Always examine the packaging at the point of delivery before signing for any package. If the package appears to be damaged in anyway Insist on writing a note on the carriers delivery consignment note. It is then your responsibility to inform us of any damage to products within 24 hours of delivery.

Shortages

Always check the number of packages as shown on the carriers delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note. It is then your responsibility to inform us of any shortages within 48 hours of delivery.

Incorrectly supplied goods

Please notify us immediately if any incorrectly supplied goods have been sent to you. It is your responsibility to inform us within 48 hours of delivery.

Non-delivery

Please notify us within 10 working days from the expected delivery date of a non delivery.
